FRIDAY8 TH MAY... Quite morning ,got some steaks for a barby tonight at Carol and Mikes....they caretaker the cricket club grounds which include the footy oval,they live in their 5 th wheeler ,free accomodation,Mike had strokes years back and can't work full time anymore,much to his disgust! Carol works full time as a Dental Assistant at the RAAF Base.
Entree,didn't feel much like the steak!
A mouthful! Made up a smoked papikra sauce to go with the crab,deliousarse!!!!
SATURDAY 10TH MAY....Off to the Casino tonight .....I get to dress up for a change and try and wear some shoes!!!! Just had one of the best haircuts I've had for a while plus an eyebrow wax for $25 ,lady in the park,she has hairdressed all over the world,I feel special!!!

Sitting in the bar for happy hour before our booking for buffet!Buck paid only $11.20 for 2 beers and 2 glasses of champagne plus he got 2 Keno games and $5 to put in the pokies,amazing! Typical casino but on a smaller scale!Off to dinner out on the decking overlooking the pool with the sounds of Diamond Forever on the lawns out the front,people paid $50 to sit down and listen ,we have it as dinner music and he ain't to shabby ,sounds like Neil to me !! Now the buffet,amazing,I was like a little kid ,oysters natural and mornay,fresh prawns by the dozen,Chinese,lamb shanks falling of the bone,vegetables and fresh salads and to top it off,amazing petite fours and an icecream machine and hundreds and thousands to sprinkle on top along with other bits and pieces.Cheese,fruit and coffe to finish off! Made a pig of myself!!!!great value at $28.95 each,Wooah!

SUNDAY 11TH MAY.. Quiet day,actually washed and ironed!! Cleaned all the windows and fly wires in the van and the vents.....very domesticated! Off to Tumbling Waters.. Berry Springs tomorrow,only 30 odd kms away ! We are spending the next 3 weeks exploring! Stay tuned!
